Bekirov Akim Ekremovich, born October 18, 1988, resident of Simferopol, an activist, engaged in sending parcels to political prisoners. Has a child.
Under Part 2 of Art. 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation"), Part 1 of Art. 30 and Art. 278 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Preparation for the violent seizure of power"), he was sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime penal colony, of which 5 years in prison, 1 year of restricted freedom after his release from the penal colony. On July 7, 2023, the appellate court upheld the sentence.
In custody since March 27, 2019.
