Chausov Dmitry Vladimirovich, born February 27, 1988, lives in Kursk. On December 2, 2024, under Part 2 of Article 282.2 of the Russian Criminal Code (participation in the activities of an extremist organisation) in connection with his membership in a community of Jehovah's Witnesses, banned in Russia, he was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in a general regime penal colony. He was detained on August 8, 2023, and was in custody from August 10, 2023 to February 28, 2024, when he was transferred to house arrest. On December 2, 2024, he was taken into custody again.
