Galimov Renat Gumarovich

Galimov Renat Gumarovich, born June 29, 1987, citizen of the Russian Federation, with basic vocational education, married, one minor child, previously convicted of robbery - convictions expunged, lived in the city of Leninogorsk, Republic of Tatarstan. Sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime penal colony under Part 2 of Article 205.5 ("Participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation", liable to up to 20 years in prison) and Part 1 of Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Assistance to terrorist activity", liable to up to 15 years in prison) on charges of involvement in the Islamic organisation Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami, banned in Russia.
In custody since April 24, 2018.
