Golikov Daniil Valerievich, born November 11, 1995, citizen of the Russian Federation, resident of Moscow, higher education, graduate of the Higher School of Economics, junior research fellow at the State Historical Museum. On November 18, 2024, he was sentenced under Part 2 of Article 214 ("Vandalism committed by a group of persons") and paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 243.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Destruction of or damage to memorial structures perpetuating the memory of those killed in the defense of the Fatherland or its interests, committed by a group of persons") to 2 years and 6 months in a penal colony. On July 8, 2026, the Moscow City Court reduced the sentence in an appeal to 2 years in a penal colony, excluding the charge of vandalism. Deprived of liberty since March 13, 2024.
