Kiselev Aleksei Alekseevich

Kiselev Aleksei Alekseevich, born February 2, 1964, lived in the city of Genichesk, Kherson region of Ukraine. Citizen of Ukraine, has Russian citizenship. Pensioner, former captain of the Ukrainian Navy ship "Slavutich", founder of the public human rights organisation "Resident SOS".

Sentenced under Part 2 of Article 208 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Participation on the territory of a foreign state in an armed formation not provided for by the legislation of this state, for purposes contrary to the interests of the Russian Federation") to 8.5 years in a strict regime penal colony.

Deprived of liberty: since July 22, 2022 – according to A. Kiselev and his family members, since July 27 – according to the official version of the investigation.
