Kobzev Vadim Dmitrievich

Kobzev Vadim Dmitrievich, born March 9, 1983, lived in Moscow, is married, has three minor children, and is a lawyer. On January 17, 2025, under Part 2 of Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Participation in an extremist organisation", liable to up to 6 years' imprisonment) in connection with his participation in an allegedly extremist organisation created by Alexei Navalny, which, according to investigators, consisted of transmitting information from him from the penal colony, was sentenced to 5.5 years in prison.

He has been in custody since October 13, 2023.
