Melkonyants Grigory Arkadyevich

Melkonyants Grigory Arkadyevich, born January 23, 1981, lived in the city of Khimki, Moscow Oblast, bachelor's degree, civil activist, co-chairman of the "Voice" ("Golos") movement.

He was accused under Part 3 of Article 284.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organisation of the activities of a foreign or international non-governmental organisation, in respect of which a decision has been made to recognise its activities as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation", liable to up to 6 years in prison).

Deprived of liberty since August 17, 2023, he is now in a pre-trial detention center.
