Nizamov Eduard Gabdullovich

Nizamov Eduard Gabdullovich, born November 9, 1977, lived in Kazan at the time of his arrest. He has a university degree. Eduard is an entrepreneur, married, has six minor children. He is a Muslim. Previously, in 2005, he was convicted under Part 2 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Participation in an extremist organisation").

He was sentenced to 23 years in a strict regime penal colony under Part 1 of Article 205.5 ("Organisation of the activities of an organisation that is recognised as terrorist in accordance with Russian legislation"), Part 1 of Article 30, Article 278 ("Finding accomplices to a crime, conspiracy to commit acts, and other deliberate creation of conditions for committing acts aimed at the violent seizure of power and violent change of the constitutional order of the Russian Federation"), as well as Part 1 of Article 205.1 ("Financing of terrorism") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

In custody since October 10, 2018.
