Orlovsky Igor Sergeevich, born April 16, 1970, resident of Krasnoyarsk, married, father of a young child. Sentenced to 3 years' imprisonment under Part 2 of Article 280 ("Public calls for extremist activity committed using the Internet") and Part 2 of Article 205.2 ("Public calls for terrorist activity committed using the Internet") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
In conjunction with the first sentence, sentenced under Part 1 of Article 207.3 ("Public dissemination, under the guise of reliable messages, of knowingly false information containing data on the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation", liable to up to 3 years' imprisonment) and Part 2 of Article. 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Denial of the facts established by the verdict of the International Military Tribunal for the trial and punishment of the major war criminals of the European Axis countries, approval of the crimes established by the said verdict, as well as the dissemination of knowingly false information about the activities of the USSR during the Second World War, committed using the Internet", liable to up to 5 years of imprisonment) to 7,5 years in a general regime penal colony. On March 14, 2024, the Fifth Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction upheld the verdict.
Deprived of liberty since March 24, 2023.
