Sentenced to 16 years in a strict regime penal colony under Part 2 of Article 205.5 ("Participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation"), Part 1 of Article 30 and Article 278 ("Preparation for the violent seizure of power"), Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Public calls for terrorist activity, public justification of terrorism, or propaganda of terrorism using the Internet").
On March 14, 2022, the Appellate Military Court in Vlasikha reduced Seyran Saliev's term by 1 year. In custody since October 11, 2017.
