Settarov Alexei Andreevich

Settarov Alexei Andreevich born on February 12, 1999, in Razdolnensky District, Crimea. A citizen of the Russian Federation, he worked in agriculture. He is married and has two young children. On October 26, 2023, he was convicted under Part 2 of Article 208 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Participation on the territory of a foreign state in an armed formation not provided for by the legislation of that state, with purposes contrary to the interests of the Russian Federation") and sentenced to 5 years in a high-security penal colony, with the first year served in prison. Additionally, the sentence includes 1 year of restricted freedom. He has been deprived of liberty since approximately May 29, 2023.
