Shtovba Yegor Olegovich

Shtovba Yegor Olegovich, born December 26, 2000, resident of Moscow. Poet, participant of the "Mayakovsky Readings", civil activist. Student of the Faculty of Russian Philology of the Historical and Philological Institute of Moscow Regional State University, specializing in "pedagogical education".

Under paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Article 282 ("Humiliation of the dignity of a social group with the threat of violence using the Internet by an organized group", liable to up to 6 years in prison) and Part 3 of Article 280.4 ("Public calls for the implementation of activities directed against state security, committed by an organized group", liable to up to 7 years in prison) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, he was sentenced to 5 years and 6 months of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony.

He has been in custody since September 25, 2022.
