Smykov Oleksiy Volodymyrovych
Smykov Oleksiy Volodymyrovych, born October 29, 1996, citizen of Ukraine; from 2018 to March 6, 2022, he served in the Azov special forces regiment as a sniper, mortar crew gunner, machine gunner, radiotelephone operator-diver — accused under Part 4 of Art. 35, Art. 278 ("Commission by a criminal organisation of actions aimed at the violent seizure of power and the violent change of the constitutional order of the Russian Federation", liable to up to 20 years' imprisonment), Part 2 of Art. 205.5 ("Participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation", liable to up to 20 years' imprisonment), Art. 205.3 ("Undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities", liable to up to life imprisonment) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Deprived of liberty since March 6, 2022.
