On August 2, 2023, he was sentenced by the 1st Eastern District Military Court under Part 2 of Article 280 ("Public calls for extremist activity using the Internet"), Part 2 of Article 205.2 ("Public calls for terrorist activity") and Part 3 of Article 212 ("Calls for mass riots or participation therein, as well as calls for violence against citizens") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation to 3 years' imprisonment. On December 4, 2023, the Military Court of Appeal reduced the sentence to 2 years and 10 months' imprisonment in a general regime penal colony. Deprived of liberty since August 2, 2023.
