Sentenced under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organisation of the activities of an extremist organisation") in connection with his involvement in the local community of Jehovah's Witnesses to 6 years in a general regime penal colony with restriction of freedom for 1.5 years. The criminal case was opened on April 10, 2019. In custody since February 24, 2021.
