In October 2026, he was found guilty by a Russian court under an article on participation in a terrorist community. The date of his deprivation of liberty and the sentence imposed are unknown. According to the prosecution, he voluntarily joined the Aidar Battalion in 2014 and took part in combat operations in Luhansk Region.
