We know the names of 238 of them, 28 names remain unknown.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are 72 women on our lists of political prisoners: 53 on the general list and 19 on the religious list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We do not have exhaustive data on all politically motivated persecutions in Russia, but what we have gives an idea of how repression in Russia has changed in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key findings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Since the start of Russia&#8217;s full-scale war against Ukraine, politically motivated repression of women has increased, and the proportion of women among victims of politically motivated persecution has gone up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Russian authorities have become less tolerant of women.
