Following a denunciation, criminal proceedings were brought against her on charges of public calls for activities directed against state security. For an Instagram post collecting funds for a drone for the Ukrainian armed forces, she was sentenced to three and a half years in a penal colony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/memopzk.org\/en\/figurant\/smirnov-danila-alekseevich\/\"><strong>Danila Smirnov<\/strong><\/a> from Astrakhan was detained when he was fourteen or fifteen years old. The schoolboy was critical of Russia&#8217;s war in Ukraine and, according to the investigation, joined the <em>Freedom of Russia Legion<\/em> by sending a sixteen-second video oath and a photograph of a mosque via Telegram. In early 2025, he was placed under house arrest on charges of participation in a terrorist organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three young men from Yekaterinburg \u2014 <strong>Arseny Klimin<\/strong>, <strong>Nikita Sukhorukov<\/strong>, and <strong>Danila Yeliseyev<\/strong> \u2014 were detained in September 2023 and charged with preparing to set fire to relay cabinets for payment on the instructions of the <em>Freedom of Russia Legion<\/em>. According to the prosecution, Arseny Klimin received the assignment via Telegram and delegated it to Danila Yeliseyev, who in turn recruited his debtor Nikita Sukhorukov to carry it out. At trial, Arseny Klimin claimed he had been acting on the instructions of officers from the <em>Centre for Countering Extremism<\/em>, with whom he had previously cooperated. Danila Yeliseyev and Nikita Sukhorukov stated that they had been subjected to torture. On charges of preparing a terrorist attack as part of an organised group, the court sentenced Arseny Klimin to eight years in a high-security penal colony and Nikita Sukhorukov and Danila Yeliseyev to seven years each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/memopzk.org\/en\/figurant\/rudniczkij-boris\/\"><strong>Boris Rudnitsky<\/strong><\/a>, a customs officer in St Petersburg, was arrested in May 2026 for a comment reading <em>&#8216;Good news this fine morning&#8217;<\/em> posted beneath a news story about the killing of Donetsk criminal figure Armen Sarkisyan, founder of the <em>ArBat<\/em> battalion, in February 2025. Boris Rudnitsky was charged with public justification of terrorism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/memopzk.org\/en\/figurant\/kokorev-vyacheslav-maksimovich\/\"><strong>Vyacheslav Kokorev<\/strong><\/a> worked as a system administrator at the <em>Hydrometeorological Service<\/em> in Khabarovsk. Security forces monitored his correspondence for two years before arresting him in October 2025 on charges of state treason. According to the prosecution, Vyacheslav Kokorev sent a fragment of a map and a brief description of the <em>Khabarovsk Border Institute of the FSB<\/em> to a representative of Ukrainian intelligence via Telegram. The court sentenced him to fourteen years&#8217; imprisonment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/memopzk.org\/en\/figurant\/melnichenko-roman-grigorevich\/\"><strong>Roman Melnichenko<\/strong><\/a>, a lawyer and former lecturer at <em>Volgograd State University<\/em>, was detained in July 2026 on charges of repeated discrediting of the army and remanded in custody over videos he had published on his social media accounts in September 2025. Investigators concluded that the videos characterised <em>&#8216;the actions of the Russian armed forces carried out within the framework of the special military operation&#8217;<\/em> as <em>&#8216;criminal and predatory&#8217;<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/memopzk.org\/en\/figurant\/yuzeev-aleksandr-ivanovich\/\"><strong>Aleksandr Yuzeyev<\/strong><\/a>, a sales manager and coach from Chelyabinsk Oblast, was placed under house arrest in August 2024 on charges of public justification of terrorism over comments in support of <em>Azov<\/em>, and was subsequently sentenced to five and a half years in a penal colony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three Jehovah&#8217;s Witnesses from Vladikavkaz \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/memopzk.org\/en\/figurant\/dzhanaev-hetag-kubadievich\/\"><strong>Khetag Dzhanaev<\/strong><\/a> and the married couple <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/memopzk.org\/en\/figurant\/tavitov-zaurbek-valerevich\/\">Zaurbek<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/memopzk.org\/en\/figurant\/tavitova-zarema-majramovna\/\">Zarema Tavitov<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 were detained on 10 July 2026 following searches. The court placed the believers under house arrest on charges of organising extremist activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ukrainian servicemen <strong>Oleh Artiukh<\/strong>, <strong>Oleksandr Babych<\/strong>, and <strong>Dmytro Semenchuk<\/strong> were taken prisoner in Kursk Oblast on 31 March 2025, the day after they had been deployed there. All three were charged with carrying out terrorist attacks resulting in grave consequences, committed by a group of persons acting in prior conspiracy. Oleh Artiukh was additionally charged with participation in a terrorist community and undergoing terrorist training in connection with his service in a unit established as a successor to the disbanded <em>Right Sector<\/em>.
