Memorial\u00bb is a human rights project that collects, studies and systematizes information on unlawful criminal prosecutions on political grounds, and assists victims of such prosecutions as well as their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On April 5 2022, the court liquidated the Memorial Human Rights Centre, a part of which we had been since 2009. We continue to help political prisoners in Russia, but now as an independent project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We collect information on cases of unlawful criminal prosecution on political grounds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We compile and maintain lists of Russian political prisoners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We spread information about specific criminal cases, people subjected to political repression and their fates. On our website, you will find case files, copies of documents, links to media publications about cases and trials, statements of lawyers and human rights defenders, open letters and texts of appeals in their support, and publicistic materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We help people prosecuted for political reasons to find and pay for lawyers and support their families.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We tell about the planned actions in support of political prisoners and campaigns of solidarity with them, and possible forms of help for each of them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00abPolitical Prisoners.
