Akuzin Andrey Viktorovich, born April 7, 1973, lived in Khabarovsk. He was an artist and co-founder of the Karma Kagyu Diamond Way Buddhist School. He was arrested on April 2, 2026, for anti-war comments on social media and likely charged with a crime under Article 205.2 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Public calls for terrorist activity, public justification of terrorism, or propaganda of terrorism," punishable by up to 7 years of imprisonment). He committed suicide in pretrial detention on April 8, 2026, the day after his birthday.
