Aliev Alam Abdulaziz ogly, born January 14, 1963, lives in the city of Birobidzhan, Jewish Autonomous Oblast.

On charges of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organisation of the activities of a religious organisation, in respect of which a decision has been made to liquidate in connection with the implementation of extremist activity") in connection with membership in the community of Jehovah's Witnesses, banned in Russia, he was sentenced to 6.5 years of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony.

He was in custody from May 17 to 25, 2018, was released from custody and transferred on personal recognizance (an oblihation not to leave the city). He was taken into custody again after the verdict was announced on December 19, 2022.
