Ananin Sergei Viktorovich, born May 4, 1967, lives in the city of Belovo, Kemerovo Oblast, leading specialist of the Belovskaya power station.

On charges of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organisation of the activities of a religious organisation, in respect of which a decision has been made to liquidate due to the implementation of extremist activities") in connection with membership in a community of Jehovah's Witnesses, banned in Russia, he was sentenced to 6 years in a general regime penal colony. On June 14, 2023, the appellate court upheld the sentence.

He was detained on February 14, 2021, and was under house arrest since February 16, 2021. He was taken into custody on March 31, 2023.
