Yuriy Argeyev, a native of the village of Olzony in the Bayandaevsky District of the Irkutsk oblast, is a pig farmer and grape grower. He was accused of publicly justifying terrorism online. The criminal case was based on his comments supporting the Ukrainian military unit "Azov" and its commander, call sign "Redis," posted under YouTube videos: "Health to Redis! Glory to Ukraine! I am from russia," and "God bless Azov." In March 2026, Argeyev was sentenced to 5.5 years in a general regime penal colony, followed by a three-year ban on online publications.
