Arslanov Tahir Ravilievich, born July 15, 1956, resident of Novosibirsk, divorced, retired, formerly an electronics engineer. On August 2, 2023, he was sentenced by the 1st Eastern District Military Court under Part 2 of Article 280 ("Public calls for extremist activity using the Internet"), Part 2 of Article 205.2 ("Public calls for terrorist activity") and Part 3 of Article 212 ("Calls for mass riots or participation therein, as well as calls for violence against citizens") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation to 3 years' imprisonment. On December 4, 2023, the Military Court of Appeal reduced the sentence to 2 years and 10 months' imprisonment in a general regime penal colony.
Deprived of liberty since August 2, 2023.
