Barmakin Dmitry Viktorovich, born May 30, 1974, and lives in Vladivostok. Yelena Barmakina's husband.

He was sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony on charges of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organisation of the activities of an extremist organisation") in connection with membership in a community of Jehovah's Witnesses banned in Russia.

He was in custody from July 28, 2018 to October 18, 2019, then under a ban on certain actions until the sentencing. On November 22, 2021, he was acquitted due to lack of corpus delicti. On April 8, 2022, the acquittal was overturned. On April 27, 2023, he was sentenced to 8 years in a general regime penal colony and arrested in the courtroom. On August 8, 2023, this sentence was also overturned, the believer was released on bail. On December 18, 2023, the cassation court overturned the appeal.

On February 6, 2024, the Primorsky Krai Court upheld the sentence, the believer was taken into custody in the courtroom.
