Baryshnikov Igor Lazarevich

Baryshnikov Igor Lazarevich, born January 20, 1959, lived in the city of Sovetsk, Kaliningrad region, pensioner. On June 22, 2023, the Sovetsky City Court of the Kaliningrad Region sentenced him to 7 years and 6 months in a general regime penal colony under Part 1 of Article 207.3 ("Public dissemination, under the guise of reliable reports, of knowingly false information containing data on the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, in order to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, maintain international peace and security") and paragraph "d" of Part 2 of Article 207.3 ("Public dissemination, under the guise of reliable reports, of knowingly false information containing data on the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, motivated by political and ideological hatred") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The appellate court upheld the sentence.
