Blanco Lopez Oscar Mauricio is a Colombian citizen. In May 2024, he signed a contract with the 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces as a rifleman-medic. According to investigators, on December 25, 2024, near the village of Razliv, he fired on a group of Russian soldiers, after which he was captured. In December 2025, he was sentenced to 19 years in prison on charges of mercenarism and attempted murder of military personnel. In April 2026, an appellate court overturned this sentence; details of the decision were not disclosed.
