Cherepanov Yevgeny Konstantinovich, born July 21, 2004, resident of the Chelyabinsk Oblast.
Accused under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Organisation of the activities of a religious organisation, in respect of which a decision has been made to liquidate in connection with the implementation of extremist activity”) in connection with membership in the community of Jehovah's Witnesses, banned in Russia.
He was held in custody from January 18 to April 8, 2025, when he was transferred to house arrest.
On December 15, 2025, he was released on his own recognizance.
