Chernichkin Nikita Evgenievich, born on January 28, 1988, citizen of Russia, resident of Ryazan, employee of the municipal budgetary institution "City Service for the Control of Stray Animals", volunteer, animal rights activist.

On June 7, 2024, he was sentenced under Part 2 of Article 205.2 ("Public calls to commit terrorist activities using the Internet"), Part 4 of Article 354.1 ("Insulting the memory of a defender of the Fatherland using the Internet") and paragraph "d" of Part 2 of Article 207.3 ("Public dissemination of knowingly false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation motivated by political hatred") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation to 6 years in a general regime colony.

Deprived of liberty since the beginning of August 2023.
