Demchenko Viktor Pavlovich

Demchenko Viktor Pavlovich was born in 1952, lived in the town of Mospino, Donetsk region of Ukraine, citizen of Ukraine.

He was accused of committing offences under part 2 of article 205.4 (‘Participation in a terrorist organisation’, punishable by up to 15 years' imprisonment), part 1 of art. 222 (‘Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation, forwarding or carrying of weapons, main parts of firearms, ammunition’, punishable by up to 5 years‘ imprisonment) and article 276 (’Espionage‘, punishable by up to 20 years’ imprisonment) of the Russian Criminal Code, the criminal case was submitted to the Southern District Military Court at the end of August 2023.

While in custody, it became known on 11 February 2024 that he died in a prison hospital from a stroke on 31 December 2023.
