Dimitrenko Aleksandr Aleksandrovich, born on September 25, 1992, resident of the village of Manino, Kalacheevsky District, Voronezh Oblast, citizen of Russia of Ukrainian origin, chemist, worked at the Novovoronezh NPP.
On March 22, 2024, he was sentenced under Art. 275 ("High treason"), Part 3 of Art. 30, paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Art. 281 ("Attempted sabotage as part of an organised group"), Part 4 of Art. 222.1 ("Illegal acquisition and storage of explosives as part of an organised group") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation to 23 years' imprisonment with restriction of freedom for 1 year after release and a fine of 600 thousand rubles. On September 24, 2024, the appellate court reduced the sentence by 6 months — to 22 years and 6 months' imprisonment. Dimitrenko is serving the first 4 years and 6 months in prison, the rest of his term in a maximum security penal colony.
Deprived of liberty since May 28, 2022.
