Dorogov Aleksandr Borisovich, born July 27, 1976, resident of Ramenskoye, Moscow Region, also holds Moldovan citizenship, blogger, journalist for the online publication "Rosderzhava". He has five children, including three minors.

Under paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Extortion by a group of persons", maximum punishment is 7 years' imprisonment) and paragraph "b" of Part 3 of Article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Extortion by a group of persons by prior conspiracy on an especially large scale", maximum punishment is 15 years' imprisonment) was sentenced to 10 years and 6 months of imprisonment in a strict regime penal colony. He was also charged under Article 319 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Insulting an official", punishment doesn't involve imprisonment), this charge was dropped.

Deprived of liberty since his arrest on July 29, 2020.
