Yegozaryan Igor Artemovich, born January 17, 1965, lived in Volgograd, worker. Under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organisation of the activities of a religious organisation, in respect of which a decision has been made to liquidate due to the implementation of extremist activities") in connection with membership in the community of Jehovah's Witnesses banned in Russia, he was sentenced to 6 years in a general regime penal colony.
He was in custody from May 16 to December 26, 2019, when he was released under a ban on certain actions. On September 23, 2021, he was taken into custody again.
