Farafonov Nikolai Nikolaevich

Farafonov Nikolai Nikolaevich, born August 29, 1988, resident of the city of Vuktyl, Komi Republic, anti-war activist and anti-fascist, blogger. On March 27, 2024, on charges of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public calls to commit terrorist activities, public justification of terrorism, committed using information and telecommunications networks, including the Internet"), he was sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony. In custody since September 20, 2023.

Also in 2024, he allegedly became an accused under Part 2 of Article 128.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Slander committed publicly using information and telecommunications networks, including the Internet", liable to up to 2 years of imprisonment).
