Fomin Ruslan Viktorovich

Fomin Ruslan Viktorovich, born January 23, 1986, resident of the city of Tyumen, married, has two young children, is not officially employed. Previously convicted under Part 4 of Article 337 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Unauthorised abandonment of a unit or place of service"), as well as Parts 1, 2 of Article 282 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Incitement to hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity"), also on February 3, 2020, he was found guilty of committing crimes under Part 3 of Article 264 ("Violation of traffic rules by a person driving a car, resulting in the death of a person through negligence") and Part 3 of Article 327 ("Acquisition, storage, transportation or use of a knowingly counterfeit citizen's passport, certificate or other official document") of the Russian Criminal Code, sentenced to imprisonment for 2 years probation. On August 4, 2022, he was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation"), and sentenced to 12 years' imprisonment, including 5 years in prison, and the remainder of the term in a strict regime penal colony. He has been deprived of his liberty since November 18, 2019.
