Larisa Gaidai, born in 1964 and is a resident of Crimea.

She disappeared on March 27, 2024. In August 2025, she was found in a Crimean pre-trial detention center.

The grounds on which she had been held in detention remained unknown until March 2026, when information emerged about a criminal case under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“High Treason”).

The inclusion of individuals in the list of persons subjected to criminal prosecution, where there is a high likelihood of political motivation and serious violations of the law, does not mean that they have been recognized as political prisoners.
