Gaziev Servet Abduraimovich, born April 15, 1960, is an activist who regularly attended political trials in Crimea. Has two children. On January 11, 2023, he was sentenced under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation"), Part 1 of Article 30 and Article 278 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Preparation for the violent seizure of power") to 13 years of imprisonment, of which the first 2 years in prison, and the rest in a strict regime penal colony, with restriction of freedom for 1.5 years. The appellate court upheld the sentence.
In custody since March 27, 2019.
