Gilishev Andrei Nikolaevich

Gilishev Andrei Nikolaevich, born January 1, 1991, citizen of Russia, resident of Tyumen, laboratory assistant at the MRI diagnostics center, former ambulance paramedic.

On December 24, 2024, he was sentenced under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation”) and Part 2 of Article 214 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Vandalism motivated by political, ideological, racial, national or religious hatred or enmity, or motivated by hatred or enmity towards any social group”) to 15 years of imprisonment, of which the first 4 years will be in prison, the rest of the term in a strict regime penal colony, as well as a fine of 250 thousand roubles (~€2750). In court, he stated that Federal Security officers tortured him with electric current to force him to confess.

Deprived of liberty since February 6, 2024.
