Ruslan Gayazovich Gizatullin was born on December 12, 1977. He is a resident of the city of Baymak (Republic of Bashkortostan), a citizen of Russia, a pensioner; he previously worked as a physics teacher and later as a concrete worker.
On December 23, 2025, he was sentenced under Article 212, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Participation in mass riots accompanied by violence, the use of objects posing a danger to others, as well as armed resistance to a representative of the authorities”) and Article 318, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Use of violence not dangerous to life or health against a representative of the authorities or their relatives in connection with the performance of official duties”) to 4 years and 2 months of imprisonment in a general-regime penal colony.
He has been deprived of liberty since February 3, 2024.
