Golik Dmitry Mikhailovich, born March 26, 1987. He lives in the city of Blagoveshchensk, Amur Oblast.
Under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organisation of the activities of an extremist organisation") and Part 1.1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Involvement in the activities of an extremist organisation") in connection with his membership in a community of Jehovah's Witnesses, banned in Russia, he was sentenced to 7 years in a general regime penal colony. On appeal, the prison term was reduced to 6 years and 2 months in a general regime penal colony with restriction of freedom for 1 year and 2 months after release.
He was under a recognisance not to leave the city from July 20, 2018 to June 30, 2021, when he was taken into custody.
