Gornostaev Ruslan Aleksandrovich

Gornostaev Ruslan Aleksandrovich, born November 5, 1976, is a resident of Livny, Oryol Oblast. He is a driver and entrepreneur engaged in freight transportation and the father of a minor child. On October 14, 2024, he was sentenced under Part 1.1 of Article 205.1 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Financing of Terrorism") and Article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code ("High Treason - Providing Financial Assistance to a Foreign State in Activities Directed Against the Security of the Russian Federation") to 15 years' imprisonment, with the first 3 years to be served in prison and the remainder in a maximum security penal colony. He was also fined 500,000 rubles and suspended for 1 year from the date of his release. He was taken into custody on May 2, 2024.
