Khevronin Pavel Vladimirovich

Khevronin Pavel Vladimirovich, born August 30, 1986, and lived in Kazan.

He is charged under Part 1 of Article 205.5 ("Organizing the activities of a terrorist organisation"), Part 1 of Article 282.2 ("Organizing the activities of an extremist organisation"), and Part 1 of Article 205.1 ("Financing terrorist activities") of the Russian Criminal Code. The charges are related to his alleged involvement in the international religious organisation Hizb ut-Tahrir, which is banned in the Russian Federation, and the collection of membership fees of 500-1000 rubles per person to print brochures for this organisation.

Sentenced to 18 years in a maximum security penal colony. In custody since October 14, 2014.
