Ibatullin Rainur Anisovich, born February 23, 1989 in the village of Chubar-Abdullovo, Aznakayevo District, Republic of Tatarstan. Lives in Almetyevsk. Graduated from the Kazan Power Engineering University, specializing in electrical power plants engineering. Not married, has one child born in 2013. Not officially employed.

Sentenced by the Volga District Military Court to 17 years in a strict regime prison under Part 1 of Article 205.5 ("Organising activities of a terrorist organisation") and Part 1 of Article 205.1 ("Financing of terrorist activity") of the Russian Criminal Code in connection with participation in the activities of Hizb ut-Tahrir, which is banned in Russia, and the collection of "membership fees" (from 200 to 1,000 rubles per month) from other members of this organisation.

In custody since May 19, 2015. Deprived of liberty on charges of terrorist activity in the absence of an event or elements of such crimes. The duration or conditions of deprivation of liberty are clearly disproportionate to the public danger of the convicted person.
