Irin Sergei Nikolaevich, born October 30, 1979, is a Russian citizen, holds a higher education, and is single. He emigrated abroad in 2022, having previously worked as a programmer at Yandex.

On August 26, 2025, he was sentenced under Article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code ("High treason: providing financial assistance to a foreign state, international or foreign organisation, or their representatives in activities directed against the security of the Russian Federation") to 15 years' imprisonment, the first 3 years of which will be in prison and the remainder in a maximum security penal colony, as well as a fine of 5 million roubles (~€51500).

He was deprived of liberty on April 27, 2024.
