Ivanov Dmitry Aleksandrovich, born August 5, 1999, a resident of Moscow, a programmer, a student of the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics at Moscow State University. He taught programming in a school club, worked as a lab assistant at the Institute of System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Civil activist, author of the popular Telegram channel "Protest MSU".

He was sentenced to 8 years and 6 months in a general regime penal colony on charges of committing a crime under paragraph "d" of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public dissemination of knowingly false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the exercise of powers by state bodies of the Russian Federation", liable to up to 10 years in prison). On December 19, 2023, the Moscow City Court upheld the sentence. On June 3, 2022, Ivanov was detained.

Deprived of his liberty since April 28, 2022.
