He is in an unregistered marriage. He was sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony with a fine of 500 thousand roubles under paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Article 282 ("Humiliation of the dignity of a social group with the threat of violence using the Internet by an organized group", liable to up to 6 years in prison) and Part 3 of Article 280.4 ("Public calls for the implementation of activities directed against state security, committed by an organized group", liable to up to 7 years in prison) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

He has been in custody since September 26, 2022.
