Kardakov Sergei Alekseevich, born September 17, 1984, lives in Blagoveshchensk.

On charges of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organisation of the activities of an extremist organisation") in connection with membership in a community of Jehovah's Witnesses banned in Russia, he was sentenced to 6 years and 4 months in a general regime penal colony. The appellate court upheld the sentence.
