Arkadiy Kerselyan, along with his acquaintance, Arsen Shaginyan, set fire to a railway relay cabinet on the evening of December 11, 2023, filmed the incident, and received a reward of 25,000 rubles. Kerselyan was detained and sent to pretrial detention. The court classified his actions as sabotage—arson committed by a group of individuals in a prior conspiracy with the intent to undermine the economic security and defense capability of the Russian Federation—and sentenced him to 12 years.
