Kolomiets Andrei Volodymyrovich

Kolomiets Andrei Volodymyrovich, born May 8, 1993 in the village of Viktorovka, Kyiv region, Republic of Ukraine, where he was permanently registered, while he had a temporary registration in Russia in the village of Yantarny, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic of the Russian Federation, where he lived with his common-law wife, Galina Gennadyevna Zalikhanova.

He was sentenced to 10 years in a strict regime penal colony on charges of committing crimes under Part 3 of Article 30, paragraphs "a", "b", "e", "l" of Part 2 of Article 105 ("Attempted murder of two persons in connection with the performance of their official activities, committed in a generally dangerous manner, motivated by political and ideological hatred") and Part 2 of Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal acquisition, storage, transportation without the purpose of sale of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, or their parts containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, in large quantities"). On June 1, 2023, the cassation court reduced the sentence by 4 months and approved 9 years and 8 months in a strict regime penal colony.

He has been in custody since May 15, 2015. Formally released from prison on January 15, 2025, he was actually deprived of his liberty pending deportation from Russia until July 10, 2025.
