Yurii Kondratskyi is a citizen of Ukraine and a serviceman in the Azov Special Purpose Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. He was held in captivity.
On 4 December 2025, Kondratskyi's case was referred to the Southern District Military Court. On 3 February 2026, Judge Denis Vovchenko found Kondratskyi guilty under Part 2 of Article 205.4 of the Russian Criminal Code ('Participation in a terrorist community') and Article 205.3 of the Russian Criminal Code ('Undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activity') and sentenced him to an undisclosed term of imprisonment.
On 5 June 2026, he was released as part of a prisoner exchange.
